The Chronicle Season of Sharing Fund needed a more dynamic, streamlined website that could increase brand awareness by appealing to a younger generation of donors while offering a seamless donation experience, a more visible list of donors (with a smoother process for searching for them), and more visible, easier-to-update content.
After discovery, we set to work creating a more consistent desktop and mobile experience – the kind that everyone appreciates, but is especially vital for the younger audience that the Chronicle Season of Sharing Fund was hoping to attract. Sköna built the site for better responsiveness across devices, incorporating clearly visible calls to donate in strategic locations, including the navigation bar and footer. Stripe and PayPal integrations allowed for additional, modern ways to donate; improved search functionality (both sitewide and for donor names) and filtering capabilities for success stories better connected visitors to the impact their donation could have on their Bay Area neighbors.
The Chronicle Season of Sharing Fund received a streamlined site that better appealed to a younger generation of donors while celebrating their mission, promoting their impact through easily accessible, real success stories, and incorporating an improved donation system, with more methods to donate and strategically placed calls-to-action.
