July’s billboards seem to have shifted slightly in tone.
What were once boards dominated by “agentic” this and “inference” that, we’re seeing more about what happens next. While AI is still a large part of the conversation, we’re seeing that the conversation might be maturing. Could it be that the novelty is wearing off, expectations are rising, and brands now have to prove they can turn AI into something reliable, useful, and commercially valuable?
Our take: The market is moving from excitement to accountability. Throwing out “AI” may still get attention, but the more important questions are starting to take over: Can you back up what you’re saying? You can talk the talk, but can you also walk the walk?
