Last month we started to notice a theme and wondered if it was here to stay.
Well, folks, we can confirm that “agentic” is still the word of the moment (and, don’t worry, we didn’t forget about you “inference”!). But after a few days of driving around the Bay Area, another pattern became hard to ignore:
Everything started to look… the same. A pattern we’ve seen before.
Same tone, same sans serif fonts, same enterprise dark blue. And in a channel where attention is scarce, that sameness becomes a liability.
The boards that stood out were the ones that broke free from this formula – they had fun with playful headlines, big photography, and took risks with lighter, brighter, and bolder colors. Now, this is what we hope to see more of in the future.
